Partners In Time
Mary Gail (Murray) and John Duffy comprise ‘Partners In Time’, a low-key entertaining duo. Mary Gail plays the accordion, and John delivers recitations from works of Robert Service, Eugene Field, Baxter Black, Earl H Emmons, and others— including a few barroom classics. Be prepared to laugh and have a really good time with their humorous banter, jokes, songs, sing-a-longs and topical comments. This couple puts on a whimsical and heartening show.
An accomplished accordionist, Mary Gail has a great repertoire of songs and tunes from Broadway, Ireland, and Italy.
As individuals they have performed in venues throughout the Greater Seacoast Area, in New York, Virginia, & Ireland.
Mary Gail plays a melodious, smooth and pleasing style of accordion. Her repertoire ranges from traditional polka to smooth, flowing and relaxing music. Her unique style includes the classics through the 1920’s to the present day.
Performances may include music from the movies and Broadway as well as more ethnic selections from Italy, Ireland and France. She is always a crowd pleaser! Mary Gail often plays and sings songs that she has written. Sing-alongs are available upon request—please indicate the type of sing-along desired when you book. Programs/performances can be designed to fit your special occasion.
